How it Works
Next Day Funding® (NDF) generates and uploads card numbers to the plastic manufacturer. Each card has a magnetic stripe that is encoded with a unique card number. Card numbers are printed on the card for use without a mag-stripe reader as well. Cards can also be embossed to accommodate imprinting. NDF can provide training for the Swipe & Ride™ Transaction Manager or you can choose to have NDF administer your card program. In either case, the transportation company is provided with a login to this web-based system, which gives them access to their unique card database. From there, all aspects of card setup can be managed and the transportation company can add their clients to the system.
The Swipe & Ride™ Transaction Manager easily allows cards to be assigned to specific clients, departments and even employees. Cards can also be activated with a specific value, as would be the case when they’re activated as a gift card. Detailed card reporting, management and billing allows the company to easily manage the program. The transportation company or client can manage in real-time the activation of cards, which is when the cards are designated as billing or prepaid (Gift Card). The cards can be further managed by assigning an expiration date, maximum number of trips or dollar amount cap. The company can also manage the status of the card(s). Statuses include: Activated, Deactivated, Lost, Stolen or Frozen; all in real-time via the web-based management tool. Transaction activity in the field posts to the management system in real-time; ensuring the company always has the latest information at their fingertips. This transaction data is also available for export to a legacy system.
Reports can be generated based on search criteria you specify, such as card number, transaction date, amount, client name, client department, client employee and more. Our web-based system automatically generates client / department / employee billing statements based on the settings specified during the billing setup process. These statements are stored in our web-based system and are available for review anytime. Your company can also manually generate reports and statements anytime. Statements can be printed and mailed or e-mailed to the client in an electronic format such as PDF. |
